Jigsaw Puzzle For IQ Improvement

Jigsaw puzzles are an interesting activity that has been in practice for ages. It is an old concept with new variations. Jigsaw actually is the name of various cut outs which are joined to make a complete figure. But before joining them, the figure or picture is sometimes not shown to the person who does it.

Apparently jigsaw puzzles seems to be a simple exercise but it is actually not so simple for every one as the temperament and aptitude varies from one person to another; one thing which is difficult for one person may be easier for other.

Jigsaw puzzles are a healthy mental exercise as it invokes many significant traits and practices among its players. The most important one is the inquisitiveness and search for inquiry i.e. finding the correct option. It also enables its practitioners to take decision that which cut out should be placed where. In this way he learns to handle a complex situation.

Jigsaw puzzles are many times recommended by the psychiatrists for the people of low I.Q (Intelligence Quotient) so that they may have some mental exercise to improve the existing level. It is getting popularity day by day owing to its wide purposes. It is even now included in one way or the other in various intelligence tests which are conducted to scrutinize people for the induction of various high order civil and military departments.

The real utility of jigsaw puzzles is manifold when this practice is given to young children who are at the early stage of developing their I.Q.

Last but not the least, this practice has significant benefit in the development of I.Q as well as in decision making process if it is done with regular routing. Moreover, psychiatrists also suggest that there should be certain approximate completion time given to its user keeping in view the level of difficulty he/ she has been facing in jigsaw.
